Culture Project
Prof
Chia and Prof Poe: East Carolina
University with support from the Department of State and in partnership
with universities around the world brings their students into a
face to face virtual classroom to study world cultures. Every semester
students from each partnering country join with their peers from
three other cultures in guided experiences that enhance their understanding
and broaden their perspective of diverse cultures. Students in this
course work with their partners using video/audio and other enhanced,
affordable, low bandwidth Internet tools to facilitate small group
and partnered learning.
