NLP in Thailand. Since very recent Neuro Linguistic Programming became more poular in Asia. Within the last 2 month in 2003, 2 different institutions have opened. First what is NLP all about, have a look at NLP Information Center. But now what's new in Thailand on NLP, have a look at Teemspirit. There Vision statement says: “Contributing to world peace by empowering individuals to recognize that each of us is unique and whole in our own right and yet an essential, integrated part of the Greater Whole that is the human race.
Another NLP provider is David Fahey and his Creative Language Solutions school. They apply NLP to reach all students and as they state on their Website: "We specialise in Accelerated Learning technologies and during the last three years,we have built an excellent reputation for our high quality language training, particularly in the field of English for business and professional purposes".

Suggestion on moto for CID 2003 by Dr. PK Passi: "Creativity builds bridges to a more humane world."
With the help of the People around the Bliss team we have come up with a design on the topic for CID Thailand 2003 using Bliss symbolic. The message "Creativity builds bridges to a more humane world." looks in using Bliss like this:

The sentence reads: "Creativity builds bridges to a more humane world."

Bliss words needing explanation: creativity = activity + creation
"builds" is a synonym for "makes" (make + verb indicator) bridges is in plural form. humane = feeling + person world = (all that exists between) sky + earth.
Blissymbols have been provided by Blissymbolics Communication International, an international organization supporting the use of Blissymbolics for persons with communication, language and learning difficulties.

Research project 'Bridge the Gap'

Isabelle Michelet - 'The main purpose of this project is to verify our assumptions that gaps are widening between the growing needs in innovation and creativity among business organizations, and the actual expressed creativity available among adults or even pre-working youth in the market, due to the traditional control (or even discouragement) of creativity in both educational and working systems so far. Should these assumptions be verified, the objective is to offer a reliable information basis for education and training institutions to take urgent corrective measures, while designing solutions to "bridge the gap". Since we suspect this phenomenon is global (notwithstanding significant gap variances depending on many criteria), this project has a global scope in principle. Although we obviously shall have to conduct it progressively, the type of organizations/students, the industries/academic specializations and the geographical areas can be prioritized in any way we want.'
