Support Angels

What would such a event be without the people working behind. The how i call them 'support angels'. The ones organizing it, the ones ensureing that there is everything paid for, that everybody has enough water and enough food. Here are some of them in visuals, but there are many more I have to thank and some of them i do not even know their name what is of course a big mistake from my side, but let me try. Thanks to Dr BK Passi, K Visit, to the whole team of CID and the two Canadian who gave birth to this idea, Marci Segal and Jacynthe Bédard, K May, K Luck, K To, K Tim, Aaron Frankel, JJ, Wasinn Horaban, Metro magazine, Tony Waltham, K Yai, Steve Groh and his whole team, Dr Noel Jones, K Patravadi, Bob Macdougall, Father Joe, K Usanee, Vinitah Singh, Hetty Zwamborn, Mike Cody, Kiron Ravindran

and of course as well to all our sponsors - check their site and the thanks!

Sometimes, but really sometimes in ones life you meet somebody who changes your life for ever. For me this was among some others some few months ago when i had the luck to virtually meet Dr BK Passi. We have been working together since then on many project and have developped and experienced many dreams but most important of all, today i can be proud to say - he is my friend over all, a very very good friend and somebody who really has taught me about patience, about love, about peace and the beauty of slowlyness and OVER ALL ABOUT CREATIVITY. I will be always student when being with BK Passi and his wonderful wife Dr Hashi Passi, and always eager to learn. Without him and her - this idea, this event would not have happened - Thanks for this
When i was preparing this 2003 years CID event, i was told by JJ a journalist that i should follow up with a beautiful man K Visit who is leading a charity organization Fund for Friends, organizing many events with Bangkok's underpriviledged and forgotten childen. I met up with him and from the very beginning it was clear for me that he is the ideal partner for my idea. And for sure without K Visit this event could not have happened. Thanks so very much for K Visit and all his colleagues from Fund for Friends as well as the two participating organizations Foundation for the Better life of Children and Christian Care Foundation For Children and Disability.

The Organizations who brought in the children have been accompanied by numerous support people. They have been happy that for once they could take the seat of the observers and let go. (picture far left)

Then there was K Luck who is as well a I-TIM student and best friend with K May who was helping a lot in the preparation to this event and as well during the event. K Tim was taking care of all the communication and administration of the sponsors and donars for this event. (K Tim in back and K Luck in front)

--------------------------------
Miss Nuttayaporn or K May - she was the one Angel in the back who did most of the work if it comes to the food, the water and coke and even ice. She was driving her bicycle many times from the park entry to our place and ensure that all the kids and supporter as well as the mptivators got enough water to cool down and enough food to re-gain energy after having played with all the kids for over 2 hours. K May is a student at the I-TIM university as well as my girlfriend!
Above: K Bally, another I-TIM studeny and friend from K May. K Bally was very helpful at the very beginning when she helped me to translate my dreadful Thai into 'real' Thai so that the kids would have a chance to understand what i tried to explain to them. Furthermore K Bally was as well endlessly in driving around with the bike and to ensure that everybody is taken care for culinarically
Isabelle Michelet, Research Director from gthe Consulting company Prasena cam with all her kids and extended family. She ensure at her station (Dragon body painting) that the kids would as well get some sweets to keep up their energy level. Well done Isabelle. And her son Thibault was there to surprise the playing kids with his perfect Thai language skills
K Yai was always there to support me when in need of a strong hand or a motobike

K Chat and the team around Steve Groh

Khun Pui and her cousine

The food, the drinks, stationary articles, books and games, the bicycles as well as the busses to bring the kids safe from their home and at the end again back have been possible because of the so very supporting private donors like:

Roland Poupon from Eridan, Francois Meurine, K. Rungravee Onanonsiri and her friends, Leon Dolle (Artist and General Manager from the Conrad Hotel Bangkok)

Donations in kind:
35 CD's from Bakery Music through K Fai (my brother)
T-shirts and Teddy bears from Georges Baurin, General Manager of both LeMeridien Hotels in Bangkok
