What is the occasion: This project will be hold under the name of CID (Creativity & Innovation Day) a Brainchild of Canadian Born Marci Segal and Jacynthe Bédard. They had the vision of creating a simultaneous global event to use Creativity and Innovation Day to spend some time to encourage people to use their creativity to make their world a better place and make their place in the world better too. In the year 2003 around April, there will be celebrations in about 35 cities all around the world where people will exactly do this. More information on some of the events what is going on around the world during CID 2003 check here. email: Marcy + Jacynthe The principle of the event: All of the kids that we will meet during this very short period of time have all serious problems and most of them will have to struggle hard throughout the journey called life. They normally lack the most important basic part of society, their families. Consequently we have to help the to solve their problem by giving them hope, love and perhaps some tools that will make their own way a bit less 'stony'. Which tool beside security and education could be more helpful than Creativity. If we can achieve that we give these kids one single new 'brick' into their hands that will help them to build a better road for their journey through life to make them become god leaders of their own families; we sure did something beautiful and something we can be proud of for the rest of our own life.

Where do the kids come from:
Through the freelance writer 'JJ' Jeremy Johanson i had the luck to meet a real 'Angel' of Bangkok and a beautiful person, K Visit Dejkumtorn from 'Fund for Friends'. He established the "Fund for Friends" with the main objective to help and support all of Thailand’s underprivileged children, to help them to develop their selves and therefore enable them a better quality of life. Recent projects haven been the "For Hopeful Children Project" as well as the "Visit my friend project".
Through his activities Mr. Visit has access to about 20 joint organizations who take care for under privileged children from Bangkok. For our project, he will organize and choose from within different organizations about 55 kids to join us from Foundation for the Better life of Children(Klong 3) and Christian Care Foundation For Children and Disability as well as from one of the Mercy center Foster homes at Sukhumvit soi 40!
These kids are either orphans, street kids or handicapped. As K Visit describes it in one of his brochures: "As the social workers, we feel we would like the less fortunate children to enjoy some exiting activities, at least once in their life time." K Visit will be joined by some of his experienced staff, I already had the pleasure to meet a very bright young student Khun Art.
