Initial mail send to potential sposors:

Dear Madam, Sir

My name is Lukas Ritzel, together with Dr BK Passi I am responsible for Creativity and Innovation Day 2003 in Bangkok. Together with the Creative Circle Network Bangkok, we have project where on May 3rd we will bring together 40 underprivileged children, aged 11-16 and 15 very active creative people from Bangkok’s business, educational and arts community. We will for about 4 hours organize a 'Creativity Parcour 'in one of Bangkok’s most beautiful parks – Suan Rot Fai. Then we will have a creative lunch all together. After this and being heated up we would move the kids to the nearby I-MAX theatre and watch a Movie in 3D (A first for all the kids). More info @ http://www.prasena.com/public/innovation/WE.htm

What is the CID:
Creativity & Innovation Day a Brainchild of Canadian Born's Marci Segal and Jacynthe Bédard. They had the vision of creating a simultaneous global event to spend some time to encourage people to use their creativity to make their world a better place and make their place in the world better too. In the year 2003 around April and May, there will be celebrations in about 35 cities all around the world where people will exactly do this. More information on some of the events what is going on around the world during CID 2003 check on the CID web-site.

The principle of the event:
All of the kids that we will meet during this project have all serious problems and most of them will have to struggle hard throughout the journey called life. They normally lack the most important basic part of society, their families. Consequently we have to help the to solve their problem by giving them hope, love and perhaps some tools that will make their own way a bit less 'stony'.

Which tool beside security and education could be more helpful than Creativity. If we can achieve that we give these kids one single new 'brick' into their hands that will help them to build a better road for their journey through life to make them become god leaders of their own families; we sure did something beautiful and something we can be proud of for the rest of our own life.

Where do the kids come from:
I had the luck to meet a real 'Angel' of Bangkok and a beautiful person, K Visit Dejkumtorn from 'Fund for Friends'. He established the "Fund for Friends" with the main objective to help and support all of Thailand’s underprivileged children, to help them to develop their selves and therefore enable them a better quality of life. Recent projects haven been the "For Hopeful Children Project" as well as the "Visit my friend project".

Through his activities Mr. Visit has access to about 20 joint organizations, all taking care for under privileged children from Thailand. For our project, he will organize and choose from within different organizations about 55 kids to join us. These kids are either orphans, street kids, involved into drugs and other illegal actions, abused or handicapped.
