What will be organized by Creativity and Innovation Day 2003/ Prasena
What you
have to bring YOURSELF:
You are responsible for every single issue that happens during the 10 minutes
a team is with you at your station (I will assign the stations to the different
Participants depending on the kind of action you will do and the specific needs
(electricity, flat surface..) you might have.
You have prepared a game
or task or activity that is creative and will be able to be understood by the
kids, the simpler the better
Bring along every support material that you would need for your station (paper,
pens, color, make up, scissors, tape....), you won't be able to buy this close
by -
THEREFORE
PLEASE ORGANIZE YOURSELF VERY WELL SO THAT YOU HAVE ALL YOU NEED WITH YOU!
You have to ensure that
you can communicate with these kids, either through Thai (yourself or
then bring a friend along who can speak thai) or then through your hands and
gesture
If you want to make your
'station'
specifically nice looking with balloons, toys, teddies, presents, colors,
flowers etc (What would be of course fantastic, you are free to 'spoil' the
kids with your ideas), bring all you need along with you and ensure that we
can leave the park at the end without leaving any garbage back!
You decide when the teams 'passed' and will get your signature to find the next
station, of course the importance is not the competition, but the fun and the
learning approach. Therefore you task must not always be resulting a result
or a 'winner- looser; scenario
Presents for the
kids if you want! promotional material from your own companies, little games
or crayons.. what ever you think could make them happy and you would want to
bring to them
Bring along you families
and friends, they can be with you at the stations and support you and the
kids, everybody is welcome AS LONG THE KIDS STAY IN
THE CENTER OF ALL ATTENTION

Bring along a lot
of Creativity, Patience and Love and hopefully loose you heart
with one of the other of the kids. It would be beautiful if this event
would be the starting point for more such activities, ongoing friendships
between you and the one or other child. Build bridges of love! Get involved
with the beautiful project of K Visit and discuss with him how yourself
and your own organization might be able to help these kids to have a better
live! Its not about CID, not about this one single day only - Its about
WE - West meets East and building of friendly bridges
Please
do not expect a highly professional and throughout organized event. We
are all Creative people and one of the most essential ingredient of a
great 'Creativity-Soup' is flexibility and spontaneity
other tips:
Your Sun protection, hut/ cap to avoid a heating
shock
Your
private solar powered aircon (!!!)
Swim Suit (if you plan to swim thereafter)
Bottle of Water (there is water available close by, but better-is-better!)
Light and very easy clothing, no business event
The Thais do not have too much problem with the heat, the park is used
for jogging and relaxing as well in the hot season, the trees create some
nice shady places
In the very unlucky case of bad weather, you would rather bring your raincoat
with you and perhaps give me a call before hand on 01 1707052

What will
be provided by Creativity and Innovation Day 2003 / Prasena:
K Visit
and myself will take care for all administrative work and provide you with all
information needed
A beautiful but very hot outside environment (with a covered tent as an escape
in the event of rain)
A simple lunch with Thai Hawker food
Steve Groh and his Circus team
Free bicycles, CD's from Bakery music, Presents from Le Meridien Hotel, T-shirts
with the official Creativity and Innovation Day Bangkok design by Lukas Ritzel!
Toiletteries, SOS, Straw maths
.. and most of all, about 55 Beautiful
kids who will for sure teach us more about life than we could ever learn else!
