IYENGAR (Breath taking) Yoga

This was one of the most spectacular stations under the supervision of Mr Justin Herold, a fomer Californian Economic's guru and now poud owner of Iyengar Yoga Studio in Bangkok. Together with his 3 friends and Yogi partners Mr Pete Tanpipat, Ms Dayin Thanavibulpol , Ms Apassorn Intra-aksorn and Justin's partner Ms Satida Keow-Cha-Oum, a Ballet teacher did they all involved the kids in different Yoga exercises and breathing technologies. This all in a environment of colors, music and tranquility. Enjoy the pictures and be sad that you haven't been there!

Kids are like sponges. They can really absorb. They came to our station and really took to doing yoga. I didn't know what to expect from them and they really surprised me. I know for myself how useful and relevant and what good yoga can do for me. I spent years exploring this and continue to do so. These kids came and in 10 to 15 minutes got something. They are hungry for life. They are hungry for love. They showed me what it is all about. I came with the idea I was the one doing the giving and they tricked me. Their willingness to do and try and have fun during the whole process gave to me. It was a great gift. I thank them. - Justin Herold
"The experience has made us realize that every child has such affection and enthusiasm. They also have great talents and abilities. I am so grateful to be a part of this project. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to teach yoga to all of them again." - Mr. Pete Tanpipat

"I could see the innocents in those kids' eyes which made me incredibly happy. I was so glad that I didn't miss this great opportunity in being a part of the event. Each kid gave a great effort. And they are all excellent yogis." - Ms. Dayin Thanavibulpol

"This event is like uniting little great power together between all the kids and the instructors. This great little power is created in such a short period of time, yet the effect lasts beyond imagination." - Ms. Apassorn Intra-aksorn

"I always work with kids in my job teaching ballet. I go to a place for teaching ballet and do my job. At the park we created a space to offer yoga to those kids who came. We gave our time because this might be something good for them to learn, something new that they might never had a chance to try. They were very attentive and some wanted to continue and learn even more. It made me very happy to offer something that they might not otherwise have a chance to try." - Ms. Satida Keow-Cha-Oum
