....Microsoft Word 2003 (check for online tutorial by yourself, we will cover Word in one single week, this will demand your own learning additionally to what we do in class. Word combines a powerful word processing application with the atmosphere of other Office applications. Students will learn how to create and edit documents, format text, print a document, format documents and use advanced page setup techniques.

FOR NEXT CLASS

go to SecondLife and sign up with a name and a lastname (must be selected from a list) so that you have a user ready for next monday's class! just follow the steps for a FREE account and you then must confirm the sign up through your email. if possible download the program from there to your computer or then use the computers in the computerlab, you may have to download first the latest update and install it to use it. Once installed, you have to create a user/ avatar for yourself and then test out the system. You can as well then enjoy a well done online tutorial here

Objectives for week 6:

Word Formats - Click here to copy - paste special the non formatted text of your Wordformatting exercise . After you apply the needed formatting your document should look approximately like this one .This exercise will be started in class. Try to do with the help of the online tutorial as much as you can. Part of this weeks objective is to
A - learn yourself with a online tutorial (find out about advantages and disadvantages in such new method of learning)
B - if ever you cannot answer or find a solution through the online tutorial, you must be able to ask me during next class for the 'missing' pieces. (this as well is part of your objectives, asking the right questions is important for any future manager. Make sure that you apply formatting to the document and do NEVER just use the Enter or the Space to get to the result.

The finished and perfected file must be send to me before Tuesday night of week 7 2400!

Continue from what you started in class: how to use templates and wizards
- This specific week will be in coordination with Mr T Tompsett who will as well cover CV content in his class with Term1
Send me your own professional CV until Friday week 6 night 2400 by mail - BUT make sure you ask questions about your CV in your next class. To create a professional CV its best done in Word with the help of the pre-installed Template/ Wizard feature. More about CV's read here!

The finished and perfected file must be send to me before Thursday night of week 7 2400!

Can you find me some real cool 3 website designs for Wellness hotels: Explain me in Word document what you like about it on design, structure, features. Check on where it links too and what metatags are used. Prepare all this in a well formatted Worddocument using the table feature with text and visuals.
